Nachos—Topped with refried beans and melted cheese
Quesadilla—Grilled fresh flour or whole wheat tortillas stuffed with cheese, onions and peppers and your choice of shredded chicken, ground beef or spinach; served with guacamole and sour cream
Chimichanga—Giant flour tortilla filled with cheese and stuffed with your choice of shredded chicken or beef; served with guacamole and sour cream
Pollo a la Mexicana (spicy)—Boneless chicken breast sautéed with onions, hot and sweet peppers, garden fresh vegetables and ranchera salsa
Shrimp and Vegetable Fajita—Jumbo shrimp and garden fresh vegetables marinated in herbs, spices and garlic; served on a bed of sautéed grilled onions and bell peppers
Pescado Veracruz—Broiled salmon filet, red snapper or grilled swordfish sautéed to perfection with garden fresh vegetables served on a bed of grilled onions and bell peppers (spicy), with rice, black beans and whole wheat tortillas
This was a terrible experience. The delivery estimate was 35-45 minutes and the food came in on hour and 15 minutes. When I complained to the delivery person (and refused to sign the paper -- which really doesn't do anything than make me feel like I'm making a point), he told me that he had lots of deliveries to make. When I called to complain and asked for the manager, he told me that the kitchen took a long time to make the food. However, when I sat down to eat it, the food was very cold so I'm sure the delivery guy was right. Additionally, I ordered an appetizer called the Cheese Dip which is suppsed to be eaten with chips. They sent a very small bag of chips which is hardly enough to support the appetizer. I even annotated on the order to make sure they send a normal sized bag of chips with the cheese dip. I have been ordering from this restaurant for years and I have noticed that the prices have increased and portions have decreased over the years. This meal used to come with a normal sized bag of chips in addition to a small bag of chips (which comes with the free salsa). I'm sure they only sent the "free" bag of chips as opposed to the one that is supposed to come with order. I am never ordering from here again. This is at least the second bad experience I have had and while the food is normally good, it was questionable this time (but my ordering experience may have had something to do with the taste buds).

Used to order from here all the time (about 3 years ago). The food has gone dramatically downhill. Bland, mushy, blech. If prices were halved, it would still be too expensive for the quality you get. I also don't appreciate that their lunch special indicates that it includes a soda, but you are charged an additional $1 to order one (and have no choice in the matter). If a menu says that something is "included," I wouldn't expect to have to pay additional $. Delivery time was within the window, though, so no issue there.

Very very tasty food my boyfriend doesnt like this place very much because he doensn't like mexican food but besides that I LOVE it! I'm a vegetarian and they have plenty of choices for somone like me. Try the vegetarian chilles rellenos they are yummy and there will be plenty left over for a snack the next day (when its even tastier). Also delivery is pretty quick

ordered lunch via seamless and it took an hour, granted my office is across town but it's a straight shot across on 50th and 3rd and i ordered promptly at 11 to avoid prime lunch time. the smallest beef enchilada i've ever received arrived pretty much cold. and the quality is barely above blockheads. not worth your time. or money.

It says 15-30 minutes for delivery but it took just a touch over an hour to get here. There were a lot of things that needed improvment. First, my quesadilla was completely cold by the time it got here. It was very greasy and limp on the bottom and looked like something somebody in a college dorm threw together and microwaved it. Worst of all, it was on a tiny 6 inch tortilla. Come on. If you can't give more than that for $10 then just don't offer the salad and soda with it. I realize that sometimes deliveries just take a while for one reason or another but with all the other negatives I won't order from here again.

This place is terrible. Simply awful. The type of place you'd send your worst enemies to eat. The only thing worse than the food was the service. If you like waiting hours for your drinks, days for your food, and weeks for an explanation on why the service was so poor, this is your joint. If you are a human being and not a robot (or moron), you'll avoid this place like the plague and tell all of your friends to do the same. I suspect employees of this place are the only ones who have posted positive comments. It is that bad.

We have been eating at Mi Nidito for 10 years. Definitely among the most consistent Mexican food in the Midtown West. Delivery is usually within the stated time (by usually, we are talking 95% o' the time). PK's Black Bean soup is a great value, it is no wonder that it is among the most liked items on the menu. Cheese dip is flavorful, but not the way cheese dip should be done. More of an aesthetic concern. Enchiladas suizas, faijitas, spicy chicken enchiladas, chimchanga, tacos al carbon, and chiliquiles all winners. Guacamole and Pico are good. Their salads, rice and beans leave something to be desired otherwise five stars.

Mi Nidito has great, healthy food and delivers late-night. It's expensive, but the portions are huge to share. It would be top-notch if we hadn't had the following 2 of 12 experiences with delivery: 1. Sharp metal object in salsa, that I happened to catch. Still have metal object. Entire meal ditched. 2. Food poisoning from salmon. Otherwise, rock on.

I cannot BELIEVE I spent $33 on three fajitas from this place. I was expecting very flavorful food for the price tag (this stuff usually sells for peanuts) but instead i was give 3 very tiny (5" dia) stiff wheat flour tortillas, bland (seriously) rice that was magically orange but carried no flavor, sauces that were hot but had no dimension at all. Maybe I sound like too much of a foodie but for this price I would expect the "healthy" aspect show itself in more freshness of the foods and flavor, not just by adding two pieces of broccoli to the stir fried onions and peppers. I will never order from this place again, even if I were desperate for Mex food.

I read the reviews and was prepared for a long wait for good food. No such luck. I agree with the reviewer who said that the vegetables in the vegetarian entrees are the same as you would find in the frozen food section. I ordered the vegetable chimichanga and it was disgusting. No taste and the tortilla was soggy. Totally overpriced.

Nearly 2 hours for food to arrive (promised 35-50 minutes) called after 60, 90, and 105 minutes and was always told that it was on its way and would be there in 5 or 10 minutes. Won't order again.
